ดร.คงกระพัน อินทรแจ้ง ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) (ปตท.) เปิดเผยว่า ปตท. ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็นบริษัทชั้นนำอันดับหนึ่งของประเทศไทย และเป็นอันดับที่ 2 ในภูมิภาคอาเซียน จากนิตยสารฟอร์จูน (Fortune) ที่จัดอันดับบริษัทในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 500 (Fortune Southeast Asia 500) เป็นครั้งแรก โดยประเมินจากผลการดำเนินงานด้านการเงินในปีงบประมาณ 2566 และทิศทางการเติบโตขององค์กร สะท้อนถึงการเป็นบริษัทชั้นนำที่แข็งแกร่งในภูมิภาคอาเซียน
ดร.คงกระพัน กล่าวว่า ปตท. ภาคภูมิใจที่ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็นบริษัทที่เติบโตที่สุดในประเทศไทย และเป็นบริษัทที่เติบโตเป็นอันดับที่ 2 ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ แสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพในการสร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงาน ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทยให้เติบโต ควบคู่ไปกับการดูแลสังคม ชุมชน สิ่งแวดล้อม และ การกำกับดูแลกิจการที่ดี บนหลัก “ความยั่งยืนอย่างสมดุล” สะท้อนกลยุทธ์การดำเนินงานที่เข้มแข็งในหลายมิติ ได้แก่ การสร้างการเติบโตในธุรกิจไฮโดรคาร์บอน ทั้งธุรกิจสำรวจและผลิต ธุรกิจก๊าซธรรมชาติ ธุรกิจไฟฟ้า ธุรกิจปิโตรเคมีและการกลั่น และ ธุรกิจค้าปลีก นอกจากนี้ ยังได้ต่อยอดสู่ธุรกิจใหม่ หรือ New S-Curve ผ่านธุรกิจ EV ธุรกิจ Logistics ธุรกิจ Life Science และ ธุรกิจ Industrial AI รวมทั้งการสร้างความชัดเจนต่อแนวทางความยั่งยืน ในการบรรลุเป้าหมายลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกอย่างสมดุล สู่การปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero Emissions)
ทั้งนี้ นิตยสารฟอร์จูน เป็นนิตยสารธุรกิจ เศรษฐกิจ และการเงิน ที่ได้รับความเชื่อถือจากทั่วโลก โดยได้เริ่มจัดอันดับบริษัทชั้นนำของโลก 500 อันดับ (Fortune Global 500) เป็นครั้งแรกในปี 2498 และจัดอันดับเฉพาะในภูมิภาคต่างๆ ในทวีปยุโรป (Fortune 500 Europe) และล่าสุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เพื่อเป็นเครื่องชี้วัดความสำเร็จ และแสดงให้เห็นถึงผลการดำเนินงาน การเติบโต และทิศทางของธุรกิจ พร้อมสร้างโอกาสในการขยายตลาด ที่จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งแรงขับเคลื่อนให้เศรษฐกิจโลกเติบโตอย่างแข็งแกร่งมากขึ้นอีกด้วย

Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer & President, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) stated that PTT is ranked the first among Thailand’s leading companies and the second-largest in the ASEAN region, according to the inaugural Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list. This first-ever ranking, based on financial performance in the fiscal year 2023 and strategic direction for organizational growth, highlights PTT’s position among the foremost corporations in ASEAN.
Dr. Kongkrapan noted that PTT is proud to be the first rank in Thailand and the second-largest in Southeast Asia, underscoring the potential to enhance energy security, drive economic growth, and maintain a “balanced sustainability” approach through good governance, alongside social and environmental responsibility. This reflects a robust, multi-dimensional business strategy such as the development of the hydrocarbon business, which encompasses petroleum exploration and production, natural gas, electricity, petrochemicals and refining, oil and retail.
Furthermore, PTT has ventured into new business operations, known as the New S-Curve, including electric vehicles (EV) business, logistics, life sciences, and industrial AI. The company has additionally embraced the sustainability approach, aiming at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving the Net Zero goal.
